If he hasn't seen it already, I bet Henry (and probably Scott, too) will get a kick out of that!

I tried to post earlier but it doesn't seem to have shown up. If it does after I post this then I'm sorry for the repeat.

As for being sick, I know all about that. My kids bring home various illnesses from school all the time, which go through the whole family once or twice before making way for the next fun illness. Okay, so that may be an exaggeration, as we hardly ever get sick. But when we do we do it GOOD! LOL

Woah...I had to come back in and comment because, Lori, you quoted me on my self righteous comment. I believe it is a bit vain to think I was speaking of you. This post was about people telling Alice that she's sick a lot. That's an easy comment to make with little or no information to go on. I take very well to people offering any advice on how to get better if they believe they can help. I was attacking no one but instead it was an effort at quick comfort for Alice, like, hey, here's MY experience and we eat well. The diet comment was related to your post and rereading it, I can see how it may sound snippy, but for future reference...Not my intention;)

My 4 year old daughter constantly insists that we invent new stories for her on the very long commute to and from school.

We were kind of running out of stories. We'd gone through the Bible, Greek myths, fairy tales...So thanks to your article I got the brilliant idea of telling her about Star Wars.

Now she's obsessed. I have spent the last few weeks being R2D2, Chewbacca or Obi Wan Kenobi. I get the bit parts, she wants to be Leia or Luke. I always want to be Vader. That's fun! But she's scared of Vader.

(Since my husband and I are forced to talk about Star Wars constantly, we've been wondering about some holes in the plot. Like...if they were hiding Luke Skywalker from infancy why didn't they bother to change his name?)

It must be a good story in its own right, without the special effects. She got obsessed with it and she hadn't even seen the movie. We showed her some clips on youtube the other day. Given her reaction to that, I'm kind of wondering if she's going to turn into your husband.

P.S.: Here's a youtube thing that my husband and I found funny, possibly due to hysteria caused by Star Wars fatigue...I don't know if your husband reveres Star Wars so much he doesn't want it ridiculed though

never too soon to start laminating and toting one's press clippings, I say. Will be sure to pick up my copy today.

My friend's daughter is sick again, it's the 19th time this year, 3rd time this month. The tot also manages to hide the pills she is supposed to take, and to vomit the ones that she was actually made to swallow. You're an amateur!

My friend is a doctor btw - though, a highly incompetent one. OBVIOUSLY.

OH! Best bit: as a result, my friend is afonic. AGAIN!

Got Wondertime last week and was pleasantly surprised to see HENRY!! Loved the article (DUH), and also the photos and layout. All around, wonderful.

I too suffer from the dreaded sinus infections. After 6 continuous months of them and no real relief I saw an ENT and found out not only am I allergic to EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN, but I also have a bone spur in my nose, making it "more prone" to infections.
The Neti pot helps, but so does some benadryl and nasal spray. Plus local honey seems to have lessened the horrible pain. Good luck.
