I am going to miss BlogHer and I will be the one in tears this year!

The primary link to Eden on BlogHer doesn't work

Carrie

I will be there. Maybe I will submit to this! Oh, glorious vanity!

I'll also be interviewing fellow mother who blog about their thots and misgivings (if any) about their children's privacy. It's for the Web site of a very hip glossy mag. Let me know if you'd like to be included.

HeyJoe

Dearest Alice,

I will NOT be there as I am a Him. Or perhaps I'll be there in drag? Only time will tell.

Fishnettingly,
Joe

Dee

The conference is in San Francisco, right?! I have always wanted to go there. Maybe I can win a contest and get a free ticket! Maybe that will happen the day I stop constantly craving chocolate!

Jen

Oooh, a Word Girl ad. Very catchy. I like his (the monkey's) dance, though I've only seen it on Youtube, not on the sets'o'TV.

And now I return you to your less distractible (able?) readers.

Assertagirl

I'll be there and I hope very much to meet you. I'll keep a kleenex in my pocket.

kyran

movie and tv celebrities always turn out to be short with large heads. blog celebrities? a race of giants. with crystal skulls.

all the better to transmit their genius. what a brilliant idea of Eden's. I'm all over it.

Batwing

Yup, she's tall. And ubercool. But in a nice way.

ozma

Ooooh! Letter to my body! Gotta get on that one right away.

Kirsty

Oh, how I would LOOOOOVVVEEE to come to BlogHer... But I live in the South of France and the cost of flying to San Francisco (a place I've wanted to visit ever since I read the "Tales from the City" series), staying there and entry to BlogHer would ruin me, truly ruin me... I am devastated!
Would the organisers ever feel like considering relocating to Europe: France, say, down in the south, Montpellier, for example...?

Sachin

Nice info, will tell my sis as she is a die hard blogger.

Jen

It would be nice if us underpriviledged bloggers who cannot be at the conference could submit our posts and have a really nice "Humor" keynote read them for us. (Hint.) (Hint?)

dorothy

I am so happy you are going to BlogHer this year, I must now go weep.

That is just frantastic.

Alison

Yes, Mrs K is tall, and unbelievably modest. I saw her last weekend and I was the one that had to mention BlogHer. As if my witty anecdotes about the Lakers were sufficient conversation....

Elizabeth

I will be at BlogHer too. I am volunteering as the Bookstore Wrangler, which conjures up an image of me lassoing a stack of books, which would, of course, be very cool on a t-shirt.

I'll be ordering books from Barnes & Noble to stock in the Bookstore, and scheduling the book signings. It will be lovely to see you again (we met briefly at BlogHer '06).

Kelley

I have been thinking about submitting something but don't you have to go and read it? I am in Australia so a little difficult. My kids say I can yell really loud but somehow I think not THAT loud...

Rachel

Hi Alice, this has to do with Wonderland, not this blog, but I don't know what to do. It won't let me post my comment and it keeps giving me a Movable Type Error: Not a subroutine reference at lib/MT/Mail.pm line 154.

Do you have any idea what the heck that means?

cthulhugrrl at gmail if you can help at all, thanks! I just typed out this big long thing to post and don't want to not be able to :)

Cynthia Gentry

I just registered! I mean, I registered last week, so maybe "just" isn't quite accurate, but it seems like yesterday. I hope I get to meet you, if I can get through the throngs of adoring fans. (I almost wrote "thongs." Heh.)

Also. Can we call a moratorium on the use of the phrase "Mommy Blogging"? Puh-leeze?

sarah

oh that sounds cool. i wish i was going!

LetterB

You had me at "whomever." Getting very excited!

Aimee Greeblemonkey

Now I am even sadder I am not going.

BUT, I *am* taking my son to his first outdoor festival-ly concert with John Mayer and Dave Matthews Band in attendance.
