I am more than a little excited to announce the following bit of news:
In the fall of 2010 (probably), St. Martin's Press will be publishing LET'S PANIC ABOUT BABIES!: How To Endure and Possibly Triumph over the Adorable Interloper Who Will Ruin Your Body, Destroy Your Life, Melt Your Brain, and Finally Turn You into a Worthwhile Human Being
(Actually, that's the entire book. There you go!)
The book will, naturally, be written by Eden Marriott Kennedy and myself.
If you're wondering, "Hey. Didn't Eden and Alice just launch that website? How did this happen so quickly for them?" Well. Let us assure you, reader, that the journey that led to this extraordinarily happy place was so long and circuitous and frustration-plagued that if I shared the entire story with you, you would fall to the ground in horror. And then you may never walk again.
It's true. Eden's legs don't work anymore. Those things she walks on? Pogo sticks strapped to her withered gams, the whole shebang hidden under her Man Jeans.
I was the lucky one. I only lost my ability to feel, and love.
But enough of our sorrow! We have a book to write, people. And oh, it's going to be funny. That we can promise. Funny, and long, and a bitch to write. But mostly funny. We can't wait to show you.

Oh, I'm so excited! I thought you two were working on a book proposal aaages ago (did you blog something hinty about it in the mists of time?) so was surprised when you launched a website instead.
